Today on our 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser, we're going to show you to install the Tekonsha T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness with the 4-pole flat trailer connector. Part number is 118405. Here you can see what the wiring is going to look like when you get it out of the package. It looks like a little bit of a mess, but don't let it intimidate you. What we're going to have would be our yellow wire, and our red and brown wire. These are going to go over behind the driver side tail light housing. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser, were going to be installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with the 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. This is part number C55567. Here's the wiring harness that were going to be putting in the vehicle. The side with the double T-connectors, this is going to go over to the driver side. This is where were going to pick up our running lights, our break lights and our blinkers. Weve also got a white ground wire. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser- Video
Today on our 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser we'll be installing the Tow Ready T-One vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118405. To begin with we'll go ahead and open up the rear hatch on the FJ Cruiser. Next we'll go ahead and locate the three hatch covers that we'll need to remove. There's two compartment covers that need to be removed on the driver side, the light cover and the jack cover. Now on the passenger side here's where the cover will be remembered. Now that we have all the covers remembered now we'll go ahead and remove the threshold and the lower part of the rear door opening. There are five screws that hold this in place as well as some tabs that you'll need to pull up once the screws are removed. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser- Video
Today on our 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser we'll be installing the Towready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring Harness, part number 118405. We'll go ahead and show you how to use the new 4-pull connector. We'll simply take it, run it to the center of the vehicle and out, and we'll simply close the rear cargo door on the wire. Then we can go ahead and pull out the 4-pull wire as necessary to go down to the hitch of accessory. Then, once we're finished using our new 4-pull wire, we'll simply roll it up and store it behind the jack. To begin our install, we can go ahead and take out the removable panel that covers the jack storage compartment. Next, we'll go ahead and remove the 5 fasteners that secure the threshold in place. more
